We are partnering with a premier Belfast-based Construction SME to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to their high-performing team.
This is a key commercial position for a professional who enjoys working closely with Directors in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. You will join a hardworking, welcoming finance department within a business known for its positive culture and modern outlook.
The Role
- Management Accounts: Full monthly production, including WIP analysis and project profitability.
- Strategic Insight: Partner with the Board to provide financial data that drives growth and contract performance.
- Process Improvement: Modernise financial systems and strengthen internal controls.
- Financial Planning: Manage annual budgets and maintain robust cash flow forecasts.
- Collaboration: Act as the financial link between the office and site management
The Person
- Experience: Strong background as a Management Accountant, ideally within Construction or Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel user with a knack for improving financial systems.
- Communication: Ability to present clear financial performance reports to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications Required
Qualification: ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified (or Finalist). Highly experienced QBE candidates are also encouraged to apply.
