The Role
As an Audit Senior, you are the engine room of the engagement teams. You will transition from performing complex testing to overseeing the entire audit lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Fieldwork: Run the day-to-day audit on-site, tackling the most complex technical areas of the file.
- Supervise Associates: Review the work of junior staff and provide practical, on-the-job coaching.
- Draft Accounts: Prepare statutory financial statements and audit highlights for manager review.
- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for the client’s finance team to resolve queries and gather evidence.
- File Delivery: Manage the audit timetable to ensure a high-quality, fully documented file is completed on schedule.
The Person
We are looking for a sharp, communicative professional who thrives on variety and enjoys the "puzzle" of an audit. You should be someone who:

Qualifications Required
- Professional Certification: Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience within a public practice audit environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and financial reporting standards.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in audit software (e.g., Caseware, Inflo) and advanced Excel skills.
